Question

Do I need to buy additional licenses of FumeFX 1.2 in order to do network rendering?

Answer

Yes and No. For standard Scanline rendering, FumeFX allows you to install it on your entire network of slave rendering systems and freely render your animations using BackBurner. However, if you use mental ray as your renderer, you must purchase additional mental ray rendering nodes from the Afterworks website in order to handle those scenes.
